Our candied chickpea snack is a savory-sweet layering of flavors, textures, and crunch. We start by twice-baking organic chickpeas - first, to bring out the nutty flavor of chickpeas, and, after having coated them with a thin layer of brown sugar meringue, we bake them again to a caramelized crunch. Then we add organic and unsulfured dried fruits and chips, aromatic spices, and crisp meringue pieces for a harmony of tastes and textures. An anytime treat, our candied chickpeas can be enjoyed as an on-the-go snack, in place of granola at breakfast, or in a party bowl.
